First BirchBox!

I have been a subscriber for Barkbox for about a year for my two wonderful pups, Tank and Dozer. I decided to look into the beauty boxes (why should my puppies get all of the good stuff). I signed up in December and found an awesome deal where I got two BirchBox's for the price of ONE! So frikkin exciting. It was pretty close to the end of December, so I didn't think I was going to get one until January, but they were quick to take my money and mail those bad boys out! It didn't take long to get my first BirchBox.
BirchBox has the curated boxes and then they have the boxes that are tailored to your choices. I am pretty sure I got the curated box because it was not anything that I thought I wanted.

This was the free box, and it had to be curated because if they would of went by what I wanted I would not have asked for tea. 

What's in the Box??

2 Harney & Son's Tea Bags- Cinnamon Spice & Organic Green - These actually weren't that bad. The Cinnamon Spice was pretty strong and I do love green tea. 

Real Chemistry 3-Minute Peel- 1.7 oz is $48.00- If you have peach fuzz on your face, be careful pulling this off, it is a little unpleasant. Other than that I did notice a reduction in my dry skin after using it. I have hyperpigmentation and it did reduce the redness and even out my skin tone. 

Curl Keeper- 3 oz is 10.00- If you have seen my natural hair then you know I have SUPER FRIZZY HAIR! Thick, curly, frizzy hair... a blessing and a curse! I have never been able to find a really good anti-frizz cream or serum. If you have and you want me to review it let me know in the comments or email me @ Syrpies@aol.com. First things first, the curl keeper does smell nice. But my biggest pet peeve is that it left my hair crunchy. I felt like I was back in the 90's using LA Looks by the handful! lol Other than that, of course, it got rid of my frizz, my frizz wasn't allowed to go anywhere. 

Supergoop CC Cream- You can get it from Sephora for 32.00- This one made me laugh at the lack of detail. I am a light/medium and I was sent Medium/Dark??? Now I thought maybe it will still look good..... well what do you think?

hmmmm..... No. Way off. Now as for the actual product... It is a full coverage CC cream. It is thick and has an SPF of 30. If this was my color I could definitely see myself using this product. But, because it is not my color I will be gifting this sample to a friend. :( 

I hope my next box will be a little better at crafting this box to me. We shall see!!!
